Our Story: I'm Jo, the founder, designer, and inspo behind our 'Garden Hair' Tee!

 

As a self-proclaimed houseplant addict and novice veggie grower, I started this journey to turn my love for plants into wearable, shareable joy. Our designs are inspired by the wild and wonderful plant-filled lives we live – from the vibrant beauty of wildflowers and propagating Pothos, to the joy of picking our first ripe tomatoes of the season.

During the long pandemic days of 2020-2021, my plant obsession quite literally bloomed. I found joy in growing tomato "trees," propagating whole families of Pileas, and bringing the outdoors in at every opportunity – a habit that continues to this day. My passion slowly grew into Happy Plant People, a small, female-owned business and a space where plant lovers can wear their green hearts on their sleeves (or chests!)

What We Create: Our Tees & Apparel are made with love for fellow plant enthusiasts, home gardeners, urban growers, and anyone who gets a little thrill watching new leaves sprout. 🌱
